QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Before you begin.

Understand what GameFactory-3A does, what this guide provides, where generation runs, possible costs and the limits of project and asset licenses.

01What is GameFactory-3A?

It is OpenDCAI’s open-source game-generation skill and asset framework. A coding agent uses its task guides and engine context to coordinate assets, gameplay and interfaces.

02Can I generate a game on this website?

This site provides curated explanations, demos and guides. It does not run a generation service, collect API keys or execute game engines. Use the upstream project in your own environment.

03Does “3A” guarantee a finished commercial game?

No. The project name describes its ambition and scope. A playable result still needs planning, appropriate assets, engine integration and direct runtime review.

04Is using the project free?

The repository is open source. Coding agents, model APIs, hardware, engine services and third-party assets can have separate costs or terms. Check the route you plan to use.

05Which engines and tools are covered?

The upstream guides cover UE5, Unity, Godot 4, three.js and Blender. Blender mainly serves asset processing in the engine contract. Exact versions and workflows are documented upstream.

06Are all the demo assets AI-generated?

No. Several demos combine generated objects with engine-library assets, downloaded scenes or externally sourced animation. The source notes on this site preserve those distinctions.

07Can I use every asset commercially?

The repository uses Apache-2.0, but third-party engines, models, weights and assets retain their own licenses. Review the terms of each component before shipping it.

08Is this the official project website?

This is an independently maintained content guide. The original project and source code belong to OpenDCAI and its contributors; the GitHub repository is the source of the latest documentation.
